The Band

Lunar Rebellion is a five-piece rock covers band from North Yorkshire, born in the holy glow of pub stages, guitar amps, and songs that are way too big to play quietly. This is not background music. This is full-send, pint-in-the-air, scream-the-chorus-till-you-lose-your-voice rock ’n’ roll. They tear through giant anthems from AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, and Bon Jovi, then floor it into Green Day, Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, The Killers, Linkin Park, Wolf Alice, The Pretty Reckless, and anything else built to cause scenes in a packed pub. If it’s got a riff, a hook, and a chorus people can yell with absolutely no warm-up, it’s fair game.
Formed in 2024, Lunar Rebellion have been making a glorious racket across Scarborough, Pickering, York, Whitby, and beyond, building a loyal local following by doing what all great bands do: turning pubs, bars, and venues into full-volume singalongs with packed rooms, raised pints, and crowds suddenly acting like they’re all on guest vocals. They’ve got that sweet spot of big songs, big energy, and just enough beautiful chaos to make a night feel legendary by the second chorus — the kind of band that can have a room belting out Bon Jovi one minute, losing its mind to Blink-182 the next, and heading home hoarse, grinning, and already looking for the next gig date.
Out front, Aimee Jane brings the powerhouse vocals, the huge choruses, and the kind of stage presence that makes “we’re just popping in for one” completely unrealistic. Kris is on lead guitar, turning every solo into a full public spectacle — all killer hooks, six-string chaos, and enough fretboard nonsense to make the front row lose all dignity. Ash brings guitar and vocals, the band’s technical guru and resident tone-wrangler, with killer guitar tone, serious chops, and the sort of playing that makes guitar nerds drift towards the stage like they’ve heard a mating call. Jon handles bass and vocals, holding down the groove and piling fuel on the fire — tight, loud, and right in the thick of it when the room erupts. And Timmy Dangerous is on drums, holding the chaos together with pure force and the energy of a man fully committed to the cause. Together, they sound like your favourite night out got hold of a PA system.
No filler. No standing still. Just big hooks, loud guitars, and beautiful rock chaos.
